Working with ByteWyse

What does white-label IT services mean?

White-label IT services are delivered by ByteWyse engineers but branded as your MSP. Your clients see your name, your email addresses and your ticket system. You own the relationship and set the price.

Who does ByteWyse work with?

We partner with managed service providers, IT consultancies, VARs and internal IT departments that need more engineering capacity, specialist skills or 24/7 coverage.

Will ByteWyse ever contact or poach our clients?

Never. Every partnership starts with a mutual NDA and a non-solicitation agreement. Your clients are your clients.

How fast can we get started?

Most partners are onboarded within one to two weeks: a discovery call, access to your tools, a review of your standards, then live work.

How is pricing structured?

Projects are usually fixed-price. Ongoing support is a monthly retainer or a pre-paid block of hours. You get the number before you sell, so your margin is protected.

Which tools and vendors do you support?

We work daily with Dell, VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS, Fortinet, WatchGuard, Ubiquiti and NinjaOne, plus ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA and Datto.

Do your engineers work on-site or remotely?

Both. Most configuration and staging is done remotely to keep cost down, with on-site engineers dispatched for racking, cabling, cutovers and anything that needs hands on hardware.

Can you work inside our PSA and ticketing system?

Yes. We work from your tickets in ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA or similar, log time against them, and keep your client communication in one place.

How do you price deployment projects?

Most projects are quoted at a fixed price from a scoping call and site details. Larger or open-ended work can be billed as a block of hours. Either way you know the number before you sell it.

Will our clients know ByteWyse is involved?

No. We answer as your company, use your tools and your templates, and sign an NDA with non-solicitation terms before we start.

Which RMM and PSA platforms do you support?

NinjaOne, ConnectWise Manage and Automate, Datto, Autotask, HaloPSA, Kaseya and N-able. If you run something else, ask: we probably know it.

Can we start with after-hours only?

Yes. Many partners start with after-hours and overflow coverage, then expand once they've seen the quality.

What is co-managed IT?

Co-managed IT is a shared model: your team keeps day-to-day ownership while an outside partner adds capacity, specialist skills or after-hours coverage. You decide what you hand over.

Do you work with internal IT departments as well as MSPs?

Yes. Internal IT teams use our co-managed service for escalations, projects and coverage gaps, the same way MSPs do.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Retainers are month to month after onboarding. Pre-paid hour blocks have no ongoing commitment.

Can you help our clients pass cyber insurance questionnaires?

Yes. We close the common gaps (MFA everywhere, EDR, immutable backups, admin account separation) and give you documentation to back up the answers.

Do you replace our security vendors?

No. We work with the tools you already sell, such as your EDR, SIEM or email security, and make sure they're deployed and tuned properly.

Do you support CMMC and NIST 800-171 work?

We help with technical control implementation and evidence gathering for CMMC and NIST 800-171. We work alongside your assessor rather than replacing one.

How long does a Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration take?

For a typical 25 to 150 user business, plan two to four weeks from kickoff to cutover, including discovery, pilot and the final weekend cutover.

Will users lose email or files during migration?

No. We pre-stage data, run delta syncs and cut over in a planned window, so users keep working and log in to everything in place the next morning.

Can you migrate VMware workloads off VMware?

Yes. We move VMware workloads to Hyper-V, Proxmox, Azure, AWS or ByteWyse private cloud, with planned downtime windows and tested restores.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. The first call is a no-cost working session to understand your goals, environment or client opportunity, and it ends with a clear next step.

Can ByteWyse join our client QBRs?

Yes. As a white-label vCIO we can prepare and present QBR material as part of your team.

Do you help with pre-sales scoping?

Yes. Our engineers join scoping calls, design the solution and write the technical scope so your quote is accurate.

What is the difference between private cloud and public cloud?

Public cloud such as Azure or AWS runs your workloads on shared, metered infrastructure. Private cloud runs them on infrastructure dedicated to you or a small set of tenants, with fixed pricing and more control over performance, location and security.

Who manages the private cloud day to day?

ByteWyse does. We handle hardware, hypervisors, monitoring, patching, backups and capacity. Your team manages the client relationship and the guest operating systems if you want to, or we can do that too.

Can private cloud connect to Azure or AWS?

Yes. Many clients run hybrid: steady workloads in private cloud to control cost, and bursty or SaaS-adjacent workloads in Azure or AWS, connected by VPN.

Can you move workloads out of Azure or AWS into private cloud?

Yes. We plan and run cloud repatriation projects, moving steady workloads out of Azure or AWS to cut cost, with tested cutovers and a rollback plan.

Is private cloud cheaper than Azure or AWS?

For steady, predictable workloads it usually is, often by a wide margin, because there are no egress fees and capacity isn't billed by the minute. We'll model the comparison for your workloads.

Can we resell ByteWyse hosting under our brand?

Yes. Hosting is built to be white-labeled. You own the client relationship and set the price.

Do you offer offsite backup targets?

Yes. We provide offsite backup repositories and DR capacity for common backup platforms.

What are remote hands services?

Remote hands means on-site technicians who carry out physical tasks in a data center for you, such as reboots, drive swaps, cabling and inspections, so you don't have to send your own staff.

Do you manage equipment in third-party data centers?

Yes. We manage equipment in ByteWyse facilities and in third-party colocation sites, subject to site access.

Can you take over an undocumented rack?

Yes. We start with a full audit: elevations, port maps, asset list and health check. Then we clean it up to standard.
